Land Acknowledgement

Our team at Appendix Cancer Canada acknowledges the land where our headquarters are located is the traditional territory of the Wendat, the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, known today as Toronto. We express our gratitude and respect for the traditional territories we inhabit, recognizing the immense historical and ongoing contributions of the diverse Indigenous Peoples who have called this land home. Appendix Cancer Canada's staff and leadership are committed to the journey of reconciliation. We pledge to amplify Indigenous voices and remain open to learning how our work can positively impact Indigenous communities.
